Privacy

We keep this simple.

My Garage accounts: if you create a garage, we store your email address, the garage name, address and trade you choose, the tools you add, your photos and reviews, your price alerts and whether you want our weekly email. Reviews are public on tool pages with your garage name. Accounts are run by Supabase, our database provider. Your garage is private unless you make it public. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time from your garage’s settings.

Emails: sign-in emails are only sent when you ask for one. Price alerts and the weekly email are only sent if you choose them, and every one has an unsubscribe link. We never sell or share your email.

Visitor statistics: we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages, store buttons and videos people use, so we can improve the site and show stores how many shoppers we send them. It uses cookies and doesn’t tell us who you are. See the Google Privacy & Terms, or turn it off with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

YouTube videos: some tool pages show review videos from YouTube. They’re chosen using YouTube API Services, and they play through YouTube’s own player, which only loads when you press play. Watching them is covered by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Store links: when you click through to a store, that store may set its own cookies to track the referral. Their privacy policies apply on their sites.
